For more than 50 years Lay Mission-Helpers have served in 36 countries throughout the world.

Today's Lay Mission-Helpers are working as teachers, nurses, bookkeepers and accountants, administrators, pastoral associates, etc., along with Mission Doctors and their families.

The needs continue today, as they did when Msgr. Anthony Browers visited the missions in 1954 and received the requests of Bishops for lay men and women willing to serve the Church and the people of the missions.
