PRAY We ask that you remember in your prayers the Lay Mission-Helpers currently serving around the world, those preparing to go, as well as those who have served and are now returned "veteran" Lay Mission-Helpers. We invite the faithful to join us in our prayers that more of the laity will recognize and follow a call of service to our brothers and sisters in the Missions. VOLUNTEER Since 1955 the Lay Mission-Helpers Association has helped the laity discern, prepare, and follow a call of service to the missions. As the oldest lay program in the United States supporting the work of Lay Missionaries, LMH has been blessed with teachers, nurses, builders, individuals with clerical, technical, and agricultural skills. Members of the Lay Mission-Helpers Association serve with an understanding of their roll as true missionaries and offer their time and talents as a witness of their faith, reminded by the motto on their rings "For we are God's helpers."
